Heritage, Landscape, Community (HLC) Project in At-Tafileh - Project Website (مشروع التراث، والمعالم الطبيعية، والمجتمع المحلي في الطفيلة)

The HLC project aims to study extensively the At-Tafileh region, comprised between the Wadi al-Hasa to the north, Wadi al-Fidan to the south carrying out a regional analysis based on both archaeological evidence and historical sources, from the Paleolithic to the Medieval period. Two highlights of the project include the 'Castles in the Landscape of Southern Jordan' and the 'Early Bronze Age' project (for a description of these, see this dataset resources). The project is also invested in involving the local community and promoting the regional heritage as a whole.
