Documentation of the Objects in Jordanian Archaeological Museums (DOJAM) Amman Citadel Museum (مشروع التوثيق الوطني لمحتويات متاحف الآثار، متحف جبل القلعة)

A collaborative project between the German Protestant Institute of Archaeology in the Holy Land (GPIA) and the Department of Antiquities of Jordan (DoA). The four-year project started in 2017 with the aim of the protection and management of archaeological objects stored or displayed in DoA museums, with a particular focus on the Jordan Archaeological Museum (JAM) as a pilot model. One of the outcomes of DOJAM project is the creation of a national archaeological database for museum-management and scientific research. The database of the museum is still under development and currently offline, accessible only by the project team and partners.
