Mediterranean Living Heritage (MedLiHer) in Madaba Governorate (ميدلر- التراث المتوسطي الحي)

MedLiHer is a collaboration project between partners from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and the Syrian Arab Republic, with the participation of the Maison des Cultures du Monde (France) to support the implementation of the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (2003). In phase III of this project the Ministry of Culture, who were the Jordanian partner, established an inventory of intangible cultural heritage in the governorate of Madaba (2011-2012). This inventory is offline and available through the Heritage Directorate, the Ministry of Culture.
