Petra Upper Market Area Project, PUMA - Project Webpage (مشروع منطقة السوق العلوي في البترا)

The PUMA project webpage is hosted on the Brown University Petra Archaeological Project (BUPAP) website and provides an overview of the project aims. It also details the archaeological excavations conducted between 2009 and 2011. The project looked at a monumental complex known as the' Upper Market' in Petra city center and conducted a synthetic study of the development of Petra’s urban landscape. The excavation seasons are also summarised in the '2010 season' and '2011 season' webpages (links available via the project URL).
